Agile Marketing Italia will be the first to offer ICAgile’s Agile Marketing certification in Japan.

Tokyo, Japan October 4 2019

Agile Marketing Italia announced the first Agile Marketing training course in Japan accredited by the International Consortium for Agile (ICAgile). The two-day course, ICAgile Certified Professional – Agile Marketing, will first be offered in Tokyo from October 25 to 26.

Participants who successfully complete this training course will receive the ICAgile Certified Professional in Agile Marketing (ICP-MKG) designation. 

Agile Marketing attendees will learn about customer-centricity, analytics, customer journeys and other topics that help uncover the customers’ needs and pain points.

“Agile Development has been discussed and gradually adopted in Japan, but Agile Marketing is not yet at all. It won’t be an easy journey but I just look forward to contributing to the spread of the Agile culture and mindset among the Japanese marketing professionals,” said Naoya Segawa, the first ICAgile Authorized Instructor for Agile Marketing in Japan.

“The lack of work-life balance is one of the biggest societal problems. I believe in the possibility that the Agile way of working supports the Workstyle Innovation in Japan,” said Hiroki Kakimoto, President of actio inc., a public relations consultancy in Japan, joining the first Agile Marketing training course.

Agile is an umbrella term that is used to describe a set of methods and practices to deliver frequent value to customers. At the core of Agile, self-organizing and cross-functional teams use practices appropriate to their context to create solutions through collaboration.

The course, which meets ICAgile’s industry-leading Learning Outcomes, is designed to equip modern marketing professionals with both agile knowledge and practical skills to enable adoption and transformation in the marketing organization. Agile learning provides marketing professionals with strategic and working skills to prioritize customer needs, develop transparency and job responsibility, manage changes productively, and create healthy, high-performing teams and organizations among other benefits.
