Munich, Germany August 2019

Agile Marketing Italia announced the first Agile Marketing training course in Germany accredited by the International Consortium for Agile (ICAgile).

The two-day course, ICAgile Certified Professional – Agile Marketing, will first be offered in Munich from 28 to 29 August, and subsequently from 22 to 23 October in Berlin.

Participants who successfully complete this training course will receive the ICAgile Certified Professional in Agile Marketing (ICP-MKG) designation.

Agile Marketing is a combination of cutting-edge Agile development processes often used in software development as applied to internet marketing strategies to create an iterative approach to marketing and achieving sales results.

Attendees will learn keys to customer-centricity, using analytics, customer journeys and other approaches to deeply understand customers by uncovering their desires and pain points.

“Another crucial prerequisite is sponsorship and stewardship of the shift to agile by senior marketing leaders. They provide key resources and crucial support when the new ways of working encounter inevitable resistance” sai Joao Nilton Da Silva,  ICAgile Authorized Instructor for ICP-MKG and Agile Coach.

Ability to adapt to change  refers to the ability to quickly adapt to uncertainty. This is made possible both by setting aside a portion of the marketing resources anticipating the inevitable changes, and by the short nature of iteration. Attendees will explore key practices to become more adaptive, such as planning meetings to respond to changing marketing conditions.

“In a world where people decide whether to abandon a web page after three seconds and assurance companies gives an answer to online mortgage applicants in less than ten minutes, eight weeks for an email test pushes a company to the boundaries of irrelevance. For many large incumbents, however, such a glacial pace is the norm that we can contribute to change” said Deborah Ghisolfi, CEO of Agile Marketing Italy and the first ICAgile Authorized Instructor for Agile Marketing in Italy.

“The first step in scaling is building credibility. Getting a single marketing team up and running is good, but the ultimate goal is to have the entire marketing organization operate in an agile way. With credibility, it’s easier to add more agile teams; one global logistics company we know has scaled up its operations to include teams operating in parallel, ” said Naoya Segawa ICAgile Authorized Instructor for Agile Marketing Italia.

The course, which meets ICAgile’s industry-leading Learning Outcomes, is designed to equip modern marketing professionals with both agile knowledge and practical skills to enable adoption and transformation in the marketing organization. Agile learning provides marketing professionals with strategic and working skills to prioritize customer needs, develop transparency and job responsibility, manage changes productively, and create healthy, high-performing teams and organizations among other benefits.

“The truth is, many marketing organizations think they’re working in an agile way because they’ve adopted some agility principles, such as test and learn or reliance on cross-functional teams. But when you look below the surface, you quickly find they’re only partly agile, and they therefore only reap partial benefits, ” said Ghisolfi.

“Being able to associate business results with expectations is stressful and fascinating at the same time. Agile Marketing allows you to work in this way by creating high quality marketing campaigns through motivated, attentive and aware teams. Agile management principles and values help make work better and more meaningful for everyone.”

Elisia Choi, Senior Director of Marketing and Operations at ICAgile, added, “As more organizations embrace business agility, it’s imperative for them to adopt the agile mindset, principles, and values across all parts of the organization, including marketing. We are excited to see more organizations fuel this journey with ICAgile-accredited courses.”

The courses are available in English.
